Zane will present Microsoft’s overall cloud strategy and how Microsoft helps customers and partners in building private and public cloud infrastructure. We will hear about the many choices and options available to businesses and individuals, covering what and how SQL Azure, Windows Azure, AppFabric, BPOS and Virtualization stack up in our cloud vision and the path forward.

He is focused on helping customers and partners in building private and public cloud infrastructure for the future.
Over the last 11 years, Zane Adam held many key roles, most recently as General Manager of Virtualization Strategy at Microsoft Corp., prior to that he was Senior Director in the Windows Server division where he managed the enterprise infrastructure marketing teams for Windows Server, Windows Compute Cluster Server, Microsoft Virtual Server, Windows Server Hyper-V and Windows Storage Server.
He had also worked in Europe as business and marketing officer for Microsoft’s Eastern European HQ. In that role he managed marketing strategy and execution for 16 Eastern European countries that includes the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia.
From 2003 to 2005 Adam worked in Microsoft’s then newly formed Storage Division, where he established and ran the marketing group. Before that he worked on the Embedded and Appliance Platforms Group, where he led a team focused on Web workload and point-of-sales offerings. Adam started his career at the company as a consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services
